Why Ahiflower?

It’s simple. Your body needs omega 3 and 6 fatty acids to function and thrive (they are essential!)—you just have to decide where and how you get them. If the following are important to you, Ahiflower is simply the best option.

  • Plant derived

  • No fishy taste, smell or after effects

  • Simplicity—your daily needs of omegas in just the right balance

  • Sustainability

  • Scientific verification

  • Safety, traceability, and authenticity

Better Than Flax

  • Ahiflower contains more total and biologically advanced plant omegas (like stearidonic acid, SDA) than any other natural plant source including flax, chia, and hemp seed oils.

  • Unlike flax, Ahiflower also contains GLA, an essential omega-6 fatty acid associated with skin healthhormonal balance, and anti-inflammatory  support.. GLA is typically taken as a supplement made from evening primrose oil or borage oil.

not from fish

  • 100% pure

  • 100% vegetarian / vegan

  • 100% sustainable

  • Being plant-derived, there is no fishy tasteno fishy smell and no fishy after effects

  • Neither fish oil nor flax seed oil contain GLA

Sustainability

Increased demand for omega-3 fatty acids for both human nutrition and aquaculture contribute to the long-range decline of anchovy and sardine fisheries. 1-acre of Ahiflower produces as much omega rich oil as 40,000 mackerel or sardines. Each year approx. 25 million tonnes of wild fish are harvested and ‘reduced’ to oil and fertilizer. It’s simply not OK. Not now. Not ever.

Traceability

Each Ahiflower oil batch can be traced back to the farms from which it came. Grown by a select group of UK farmers, each field is carefully managed and monitored to the highest agricultural and environmental stewardship practices.
